More than 70% of adults that come into your practice have periodontal disease. The dental team will learn how to properly identify the periodontal case type and the preferred treatment protocol, when to refer to a specialist, and at what intervals the patient needs to return for maintenance.

About your presenter:

Allan Monack, DMD, FAGD

After graduating from the University of Pennsylvania School of Dental Medicine, Dr. Monack spent two years in the Army Dental Corps. And has been in private practice for the past 29 years. As an Associate Professor at Farleigh Dickenson University in the Department of Pedodontics, he taught a senior honors course in Practice Management. He has also been Chairman of the Dental Assisting Program at Morris County Community College. For the past 20 years, he has been a member of the Panky Mann Study Club of NW Jersey and is the past Program Coordinator.

Dr. Monack is a Fellow of the Academy of General Dentistry and has advanced training in pedodontics, orthodontics, TMD and interceptive periodontal therapy. For the past 15 years, State Farm Insurance Company has employed him as a case evaluator.

Dr. Monack maintains a private practice in New Jersey and is the Hygiene Clinical Director for McKenzie Management, Inc. He consults with the hygiene departments of dental practices throughout the U.S. in implementing and building successful interceptive periodontal programs
