Through improved interpersonal and group functioning techniques, our Team Building Program offers the opportunity to enhance the culture of your practice to one of even greater production, profitability and enjoyment.
Our Team Building Program provides dental teams the opportunity to build a working foundation on which they can maximize strengths and minimize obstacles for greater success. The objective is to create more awareness of individual issues as well as the impact of personal style on group dynamics. The schedule is tailored for each practice’s business needs and the group needs. The process enables the dental team to develop and build emotional intelligence in the context of driving the business. Our focus is to give the dentist and his/her employees the necessary insights and tools needed to understand psychological diversity in order to maximize retention, satisfaction, and practice success.
The Team Building Objectives
- Creative programs for your team, resulting in cohesive care giving teams, and increased employee retention and motivation.
- Break down barriers for greater trust and team inter-dependence.
- Improve interpersonal communication skills and establish dialogue.
- Provide a forum for the team to evaluate strengths and weaknesses.
- Determine problems in the team's behavior and suggest corrective actions to be taken.
- Clearly define roles and responsibilities of the members.
- Assess their role in the group and understand how that contributes to the overall group objective.
- Develop specific team processes such as decision-making and conflict management.
- Improve problem-solving strategies.
- Allow the group to engage in a continuous process of self-improvement.
Our Approach
The Team Building Program is a two-day process. This is an intense time to build the foundation for group cohesion and accountability. Team members learn about their individual style and its impact on the group dynamics. They will explore core competencies that team members need in order to function effectively as a unit. They will identify their mission with specific business metrics. The agenda will allow practice opportunities for skill development. Team activities and simulations provide an understanding of group dynamics and the important elements of effective teamwork. Follow-on meetings, individual coaching, and departmental training are available as needed to sustain the learning from the initial team-building program. The end result is new levels of understanding and cooperation.
